About Me
- Taryn Brooks-Faulconer
- I've been around awhile and have pursued a number of different career paths, including acting, singing, teaching (preschool, art, modeling), legal secretary, paralegal, and secretarial coordinator/trainer in a patent law firm. Currently, I have an online needlecraft shop on eBay and have returned to school at George Mason University where I am pursuing a B.S. Biology, and minors in Psychology and English (Creative Writing). I have two unfinished novels in the works: most recently, a time travel/supernatural romance, and a mainstream fiction I hit a writer's block on a few years ago when we moved from California to Virginia. I have two adult children, both girls, as well as a teenage daughter and son. I'm married to a wonderful man who works for the government, travels way too much, and doesn't seem to mind my creative and entrepreneurial nature! I hope to complete my B.S. in 2012 and go on to graduate studies, with a goal of working in the area of biomedical research and perhaps using that knowledge in my fiction writing as well.
